JEWELRY:

Star Animal Sundays products are individually handcrafted. There may be natural blemishes and variations that are not product flaws. Such variations are inherent in the manufacturing of handmade products, so you may find minor distinctions that make your pieces special. 

Although our metals do not easily tarnish, it is only natural for everyday build up from lotions, skin oils and water residue to form a thin layer of debris. We recommend simply wiping down your all gold pieces with soapy warm water and a jewelry cleaning cloth. We do not recommend wearing any of your pieces to bed or your wood pieces in the shower. 

Our natural sandalwood beads are raw and untreated, therefore, are not indestructible. We do not recommend getting any of your wood beaded pieces wet.

CANDLES:

Here are our safety tips and for prolonging the life of your candles.

Burn Time:

• For the first time you burn your SAS candle, allow it to burn for at least two hours, until the whole top is liquid with wax. This will help your candle burn more evenly during future usage. Do not burn for more than 2 hours at a time. Our 5.25oz candle burns for 30 hours.

Keep Wick Trimmed:

• Before lighting your SAS candle, trim the wick to 1/4-inch length. By shortening the wick you allow it to burn more slowly and also avoid black smoke which can accumulate around the edge of the glass.

Realign the Wick:

• If you see your wick falling be sure to re-center and straighten the wick.

Safety:

• Never leave a lit candle unattended as this could be a fire risk. Always place your candle on a level, heat resistant, non-flammable surface away from fabric or drapes. Choose an area free from drafts to avoid uneven burning. Do not place your candle on a marble or glass surface. If the bottom of the hot candle glass comes in contact with a cold material, the glass may crack.

SHIPPING:

All items will be shipped within 2 weeks from order date. If you need your order before 2 weeks, please reach out to sales@staranimalsundays.com and we will do everything we can to accommodate and expedite shipment. Please note: due to Covid-19 your item may experience production and shipping delays. 

IMPORTANT: If you choose Expedited Shipping or Next Day, your item may still take 2 weeks to be created and be ready to ship, however the shipping method will be expedited accordingly once ready.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

We ship to any international destination. 

Any customs fees, import duties, taxes, or other local charges are your responsibility. They are beyond our control as they are set by the Customs Authority of the destination country, and they depend on a number of factors such as local VAT rates and local import taxes. 

International customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable through Star Animal Sundays, but you may be able to recover these by contacting your local customs office directly. As it varies from country to country, you might want to check your customs office's policy before returning your items.

All unused, undamaged items can be returned for full refund within 15 days of receipt. We offer FREE returns within the United States. 

To initiate a return, please email hello@staranimalsundays.com to receive return approval and authorization number. All returns must be pre-approved by customer service.

In order for a return to be approved, the items must meet the below criteria:

• All items must be in original and unused condition. Items showing any sign of wear or damage will not be eligible for return.
• All items must be returned in original packaging with all materials and packaging undamaged and completely in tact. Any items returned with packaging elements missing or damaged will be evaluated on a case by case basis and may be subject to a restocking fee. Restocking fee may vary from $5-$70 depending on extent of damage - our customer service team will communicate directly with you to confirm any charges before processing the return. 
• Return must be imitated within 15 days of receipt of the item
• Refunds do not cover shipping and handling costs

What is Star Animal Sundays?

Star Animal Sundays uses 14k repurposed gold and ethically sourced diamonds. The charms are made in Los Angeles and New York City. We are inspired by the many cultures around the world that honor the special connection to the creatures with whom we share the world. 

Star Animal Sundays exists at the crossroads of nature, symbolism, and wellness. We offer a unique way to forge a stronger connection with yourself, nature, and loved ones through finding and connecting with the powerful spirit of animals.

Who is behind the brand?

Star Animal Sundays was developed by a group of creatives with backgrounds in jewelry design. They were inspired to develop a line of ethically-sourced jewelry that honors the many cultures that believe in power animal guides, and inspires self-discovery among their customers.

Why did you choose spirit power animals as inspiration for the line?

Star Animal Sundays is inspired by the many cultures around the world that honor our special connection to the creatures with whom we share the world. We have immense appreciation and respect for these animals' strength, their beauty, and their remarkable gifts, and have imagined these values in each of our handcrafted pieces.

The most ancient of people reflected a deep belief in animals that has spanned the ages and continents from cave drawings to hieroglyphics, ancient Greek mythology to Norse mythology. In Hinduism it is believed that people can be reborn again and again -- sometimes as humans, sometimes as animals.  

Can I have more than one spirit power animal?

As we transition and evolve through life we may find that we relate to more than one animal. Sometimes we’ll find that we relate to more than one animal at once, or relate to multiple animals separately at various times. Finding your animal, and discovering which ones you identify with most, is a personal discovery. Your animal can come to you, or you can choose your animal.

What does it mean that the pieces are blessed by a Shaman?

The Shaman cleanses and purifies the energy of each piece to prepare it for the owner. 

Can I order an animal charm in a different colored metal?

Yes! You can order your charm in 14 karat rose gold or 14 karat white gold, however, your purchase will be final sale. Our rose gold is a soft rose, not brassy. Our white gold is brushed, not shiny, just like the yellow gold.

How quickly do items ship once ordered?

All Star Animal Sundays jewelry is handcrafted and blessed by a shaman just for you. All items may take up to 2 weeks to ship, however we will always do our best to ship as soon as possible. Please note: due to Covid-19 your items may experience production and shipping delays.

If we change the price on an item, or offer a special promotion, we will honor price adjustments within 30 days of purchase. 

What is your jewelry made of?

Our jewelry is made of 14K repurposed gold and ethically-sourced diamonds. Our diamonds are guaranteed conflict-free and we follow environmentally-sound practices so the eco-system is preserved with no harm to human or animal. Our gold plate is made of 14k gold plate. Our charms are made in Los Angeles and New York (however, our chains are manufactured in Indonesia).

How do I redeem my e-gift card?

Simply enter the code provided via email into the “discount code/gift” field at checkout. The value of your gift card will be automatically deducted from your order. Should a balance be owed, you can use a credit card.
